BBQ Beans


1 onion finely chopped

4 rashers of smoked bacon finely chopped (all fat removed)

2 tins of baked beans

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons tomato puree

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon granulated sweetener


Method:


Fry onion and bacon in a non stick pan until slightly browned and bacon is cooked, add the beans, balsamic vinegar, tomato puree, Worcestershire sauce and sweetener, mix well and simmer for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally to avoid sticking to the pan, then serve.
