‘Biscoff’ Apple Crumble

What a delicious way to use up those seasonal apples. This delicious take on apple crumble is super easy to make and the 'biscoff' spread gives the crumble a little extra special taste whilst the addition of chia seeds gives a lovely crunchy texture as well as adding extra vitamins, calcium and protein.

Ingredients

Serves 10

For the filling:

750g Apples, peeled, cored and chopped.

250ml Water

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

30g Brown Sugar

For The Topping:

200g Coarse Grain Flour

100g Porridge Oats

20g Chia Seeds

4 Tablespoons'Biscoff' or Supermarke's own Biscuit Spread

Method

Place the apples, water, cinnamon and brown sugar into a pan and heat for 5 minutes or until apples are softened.

In a separate bowl mix the flour, porridge and chia seeds together. Next add the spread, running it through your fingers until the mix resembles breadcrumbs. Place the apple mix into a large oven proof dish and top with crumble.

Cook in a preheated oven, 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until topping is golden brown .
