Caramel Rhubarb & Pear Crumble

Serves 6


200g Rhubarb

200g Pear

20g Granulated Sweetener

120g Aldi/Adsa Wholemeal Bread Mix

4 Capfuls Caramel Flavouring

100ml Water


Method:


Chop the rhubarb and peel & chop the pear into bite size pieces and place in a pan with the water, 10g sweetener and 2 capfuls caramel flavouring, bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes until softened and liquid has reduced. In a shoe rate bowl mix the bread mix and 10g sweetener, add 2 capfuls of caramel flavouring and a couple of spoons of juice from the rhubarb and apple. Mix well into flour to form small crumbs. Place rhubarb and pear in oven proof dish, with some of the juice and place the crumble over the top. Cook in a hot oven approx 200 for 15-25 minutes until the crumble had turned golden brown. Remove from oven and leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
