This simple and easy to make curry sauce is ready in minutes and tastes so delicious. Great for replacing that high fat, high calorie Saturday Night Takeaway, it will go down a treat with the whole family and can be served along with cooked chicken, chunky fried peppers & onions for that real authentic Chinese Chip Shop Style Curry.
Serves 4-6
2 Small Onions, Finely Chopped or use frozen Chopped Onion
1 Cupful Frozen Peppers or 2 Mixed Peppers Finely Chopped
1 Tin of Mushy Peas
1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
2 Chicken Stock Pots
3 Teaspoons Medium Curry Powder
1 Teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
200ml Cold Water
2 Teaspoons Granulated Sweetener
2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
Method:
Simply place all the ingredients together in a blender or food processor and whizz until fairly smooth, heat & serve. Sauce can be heated in a pan or in the microwave.
