Creamy White Wine & Peppercorn Sauce

This Delicious gluten free, sugar free sauce will have the whole family shouting for more… easy to make and great with pasta or over steak. Try adding mushrooms or onions for another easy sauce variety.


Serves 4


4 Tablespoons Alpro Single Soya Cream Alternative

1/2 Teaspoon Xanthan Powder

1 White Wine Stock Pot

200ml Water

1/2 a teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

1 Beef Oxo/Or Stock Pot

2 Teaspoon  Dried Parsley

1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt

1 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika

1 Teaspoon Ground Pepper

1 Teaspoon Ground Black Peppercorns

1 Teaspoon Tomato Puree


Method:


Using a non stick pan, melt the white wine  stock pot in 200ml boiling water add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.  Simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Leave to stand for 5 minutes. The sauce should thicken further as it cools. For a thicker sauce whisk with an electric mixer for a few seconds and for a thinner sauce add a little more water.
