Crispy Fillet Burger (Chicken or Quorn)

This has to be one of the easiest ways to create a deliciously tasty crispy fillet burger.

No no need for deep frying here, they taste amazing!

The inspiration for this little tasty bite came after I saw my husband put a few Worcestershire Sauce flavoured French Fries on his chicken sandwich! I thought why not? So here it is, a super fast crispy fillet recipe that the whole family can enjoy and one that the kids will love to help you make.

Serves 3-4

Ingredients

3 Large or 4 Small Chicken Fillets or Quorn Fillets

2 Packets of Worcestershire Sauce Flavour French Frues

1 Egg Beaten

Low Calorie Cooking Spray

Method

Preheat the oven at 180 Degrees/Gas Mark 4

Place the french fries into a large plastic sandwich bag, roughly crush using a rolling pin (or whatever non breakable thing you have to hand). Empty into a large bowl.

Dip each fillet into the beaten egg then into the crushed French fries. Gently spray with low calorie cooking spray.

Place into the pre-heated oven and cook for 20-40 minutes depending on size of fillet and until cooked through.

Serve on its own or on a freshly toasted whole meal bap with crisp salad.

Note - why not experiment with other flavours for an added twist.
