McD’s Tagliatelle


When McD'S meets Pasta - This deliciously creamy dish is extremely tasty and very easy to make. A much healthier alternative to your favourite fast food Burger and one the whole family will love.

Ingredients

400g Dried Tagliatelle

400g Lean Mince Beef

1 Onion Finely Chopped

6 Pickled Gherkins Finely Chopped

100g Tomato Puree

500ml Unsweetened Almond Milk (or preferred milk)

100g Grated Cheese

2 Tablespoons Cornflour


Method

Boil the pasta in a large pan of salted water as per packet instructions.


Once cooked drain and leave to one side. In a large non stick frying pan fry the mince, onion, gherkins until the mince is browned.


Add tomato purée and stir well. Cook for a further 2 minutes.


Add the almond milk and cook for a further 3 minutes.


Mix the cornflour with a little water and add to the pan, stir well and add the the grated cheese.


Stir well and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add the drained pasta to the pan and serve.
