This very versatile BBQ sauce is perfect for a summer BBQ or even to Use for an oven naked or grilled dish. It’s so simple to make and ready in minutes. The smokey tones of paprika along with the sweetness of honey and sharpness of balsamic vinegar will have you tastebuds tingling with delight.
Ingredients
1Tablespoons Black Treacle
2 Tablespoons Tomato Puree
25ml Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 Tablespoon Honey
1 Teaspoons Lazy Garlic or 2 Cloves Garlic finely chopped
2Teaspoons Paprika
1/2 Fresh Green Chilli (optional)
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
20ml Water
Method
Place the treacle, tomato purée, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic, paprika, chilli and brown sugar into a blender and blitz until smooth. Pour into a pan and heat until bubbling, stirring continuously.
Leave to cool and place in airtight container until results to use.
