I came across this tasty Japanese BBQ sauce when researching katsu curry sauce.
Intrigued as ever, I made a few little adaptions and made my own healthy version. I teamed this fabulous sauce with cooked chicken and stir fried chunky onions and peppers then tossed in cooked noodles. It was delicious and quick and simple to make.
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Granulated Sweetener
1 Teaspoon Mustard Powder
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Granules
2 Tablespoons of Tomato Puree
2 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar
Method
Simply add the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sweetener, mustard powder, garlic, tomato purée and white wine vinegar into a pan and gently heat until glossy. I added a little water and poured it into my cooked chicken and vegetables then when the sauce had reduced again I tossed in the cooked noodles. Another perfect recipe that’s ready in minutes. Enjoy!
Perfect with Chicken, Pork, Tofu, Chinky Veg and Noodled.
