Makes 6-8 Pasties
Ingredients
200g Leftover Cooked Turkey 200g Leftover Cooked Ham
250ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Tablespoon Cornflour
2 Tablespoons Fresh Parmesan Cheese
1 Sheet of Light Puff Pastry
Method
Preheat oven 180 Degrees/Gas Mark 4.
Mix the cornflour with a little milk. Add the remaining milk to a saucepan and heat until almost boiling. Stir in the cheese and cornflour, continue to stir until thickened.
Chop up the ham and turkey. Mix into the sauce, remove from the heat and pour into a cold bowl. This will help it to cool quicker.
Unroll the puff pastry and place onto a sheet of baking paper. place another sheet of baking paper on top and gently roll out until the pastry is approximately another 1/3-1/2 bigger.
Remove top layer of baking paper. Cut the pastry into 6-8 oblong sections. Place a couple of spoonfuls of the turkey and ham filling onto one half of the pastry, avoiding the sides.
Carefully fold over the pastry to form the pastie. This is easier if you use the underneath baking paper to guide it and then gently remove the folded paper with a knife.
Crimp then edges of the pasties with a fork all the way around each one.
Slide the pasties with the baking paper onto an oven tray.
Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
Calores per Pastie if making approx 242-288
